At Desert Inn Road and Maryland Parkway, fire had struck at the apartment complex this morning and firefighters have been fighting with all their strength to kill the fire.

At least 10 units were ruined by the fire and it continued for over 2 hours.  The firefighters was situated at 1100 block of Dumont Boulevard. It is known that Clark County firefighters were fighting the fire together with Las Vegas Fire Department firefighters.

They explained the fire went from one rooftop to the other because of the winds. So, firefighters were taking on the fire on the roof and made sure that minimum units were destroyed.
