It has been found that the winning ticket that got $162 million from Mega Millions was actually sold at a humble seaside hamlet on Long Island.

The New York State Lottery officials declared that the ticket was sold in Suffolk County which is close to Rocky Point.  However, nobody has yet come to claim the jackpot money.

The winning numbers are 3, 33, 35, 39, 45 and Mega Ball number 13. Jennifer Givner who is a spokesperson reported that Mega Millions intends to give the money right away rather than waiting for 26 years. However, the catch is that the prize money will come down to $100 million.
